| Hi hi hi hi! I'm so terrible with writing in this thing all the time but I guess it only makes more sense to write in here when I actually have things somewhat interesting to share. Of course I've been ridiculously busy with school but that's definitely not anything new. The library and I are becoming better friends this semester haha. I do feel like I'm getting more work and studying done and I know now when to put my foot down on going out somewhere when I should be catching up with school stuff. I have a small break right now so after I get off Xanga, then I'm going to do my chem lab write-ups due THURSDAY but instead of doing it tomorrow night, I can get it done now. See? I'm becoming a little better with not procrastinating haha. Only a little though. And I was so excited cause I did well on my psych test (88, which was a little disappointing but I know I can do better on the next exams) and for my clinical microbiology test....dun dun dunnnnnnn, I got an 87!!!! That gives me more hope that I can do well (and hopefully even better) on the next exam. So yeah that really made my day today =]
Anyway enough about school, let's talk MAKEUP (sorry for Chris and my big bro Charlie cause I know you guys read this haha). I have yet to get my Fafi haul cause I gave Alanna some money to pick some stuff up for me with her discount. I am just going to get a lipgloss, lipstick, blush, and one of the sassy Fafinette dolls. Not gonna go all out with this collection but the packaging is super cute on most of the stuff and I want more lip products so I just decided to go with those. Then when I was at King of Prussia Mall the other day with my brother, I couldn't resist and picked up an Iridescent Pressed Powder in Belightful and it was really funny cause I think aboywearingmakeup from youtube was saying something about how the girl on the packaging kinda looks like one of the kids from Children of the Damned haha. But yeah it has a little mirror inside and I LOVE the powder and I've been using it as a highlight on my cheeks and it definitely gives them a little glow. Once I get all my Fafi products together I'll have to take a picture. I still haven't gotten my camera back yet cause it's still in Aaron's dad's car but at some point soon I'll have it.
So how was everyone's Valentine's Day? Mine was nice. Aaron and I actually celebrated the day before since he had to work on actual V-day. I felt bad cause I didn't get him anything but I'm actually going to clean up his room this week and maybe make him a little goody bag with just a bunch of random stuff. He bought me an awesome pair of dunks and of course he knows I love pink:
I'll have to post another picture of me rockin them sometime. And then we went to Vientiane Cafe on 47th and Baltimore cause I was never there before and plus it's a Laotian restaurant so the food made me feel at home. Nothin like having awesome Asian food and wine. I passed out when we got home because I was so tired haha. I know a lot of single people were like booo Valentine's Day but hey that doesn't mean you still can't go out and have fun with your friends or just people who are close to you. All throughout high school when I was single and my best friend always had a boyfriend, she still gave me Valentine's and bought me daffodils and carnations to cheer me up. That always made my V-day a lot better! So yeah even if you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend you can still enjoy Valentine's Day.
Oh and another thing I wanted to talk about: my Godson's birthday party! It's going to have a Sesame Street theme and Alanna wanted to get really creative so with mine, Carla, Marie, Dexter, and Dave's help we made some of the characters to use as invitations. I took a picture on my phone:
Ta-da! Don't we have skills? It was a lot of fun, we made like 20 invitations or something. Gotta love getting creative =]

| Ok so let me tell you how much I LOOOOOOVEEEEE sales! Pretty much every store at the mall was having a blow out end of the year sale after Christmas break, and I’m proud to say that I’m glad I held off on buying certain tops cause if I didn’t, I would’ve been that person who walked into a store and got pissed that something I paid full price for two months ago is now on sale. Luckily that didn’t happen so that’s all that matters. After New Year’s, I left the mall with a white collared dress shirt with cute rhinestone buttons that was 50% off (so it ended up being roughly 18 bucks) and a black, white, and pink argyle sweater that was $15, both from NY & Company. And I don’t know if I mentioned it before but Express had huge sale as well and their sweaters are all $29.50. A couple of months ago there was one that I wanted but it was wayyyy too much money ($49.50), and it just happened to be on sale this past month so I grabbed one in dark purple. It looks like a turtleneck but there’s a cutout in the back. I wore it Aaron’s father’s birthday party so I’ll have to post some pics from that.
NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS (got a ton of them too)
1) Get a job
2) Hit the gym more often (I mean it’s free at school, I should be taking advantage of it, and I don’t want to lose any weight, I just need to tone my stomach, arms, thighs, butt…ok pretty much everything)
3) Improve my grades this semester (I’m taking 19 credits though so we’ll see how that even goes)
4) Go to bed earlier – sleep is key and since I gotta wake up at like, 6:45AM this semester, I need to get all the sleep I can
5) Get my license (it’s sad to almost be 21 and not have your license. I don’t really need it during the school year since I take public transportation in the city but when I’m at home, I’m in the suburbs so you have to drive everywhere)
6) Be less jealous of other girls (especially all the ones that are friends with my boyfriend because even though they’re all pretty, I know he really loves me) AND be more proud of myself, without being conceited of course
7) Learn to save money and be more responsible with how I spend it (and that means not buying MAC every freakin month and buying clothes for 50, 60 bucks a top at Express)
8) Study every day so I’m not behind
9) Try to keep in touch with my friends from home at least once a week – I know we’re all busy and we all understand that we’ve got full schedules but even if it’s a short 2 minute call just to say hello, I am going to do that
Sooo that’s all I wanted to say for now, I’m sorry I haven’t been updating but I figure people probably have forgotten about my Xanga anyway. I actually made a blogger but I don’t know if I’m going to post on there or keep posting on here yet

| Happy New Year everyone! I hope you guys had a wonderful and most importantly SAFE time celebrating it. I get to celebrate it two more times haha once more for Vietnamese and Chinese New Year and then in April for Lao New Year so more fun AND more money for me in the upcoming year. My parents had their friends over and by the time I left to go to Jason’s house, people were already drunk and gambling away. I called my house after the ball dropped and my mom was like “Happy New Year, I won a lot of money!” I’m glad they all had a good time, my parents definitely deserve it for working so hard. As for me, I had a good time too but there were some complications with getting people together and whose house we could hang out at and who could be allowed to go where. Most of us ended up at Jason’s (Daveen’s boyfriend) house cause his parents had a lot of party trays and snacks. And my brother just got Rock Band not that long ago so people wanted me to bring that over. We didn’t do anything big, just hung out, chatted and did whatever. I wasn’t really looking to drink on New Year’s and it’s nice that I got to be with people who didn’t care about that either and you know what, we all had fun anyway so there. =]
Oh and it was kinda funny, there was an “AWKWARD TURTLE!” moment cause I was talking to Marie and Vinay about some girl that we used to go to high school with. I forget how she even came up in the first place but I tried not to use her name and Marie was like oooh are you talking about <insert name here>? And I was like yeah her! I was talking about how she thought she was much superior than everyone else and better at whatever and I said I hope no one here is friends with her and one person was. I was like “OOPS” but everything I said I meant so yeah. I am just so mean sometimes and I can’t help it. I don’t really miss anybody from high school except for the few people that I hang out with whenever it’s vacation. I mean there were some things I loved about high school but for the most part I am just so happy I’m past that. I like college so much better. I have more freedom (even though my parents still call me at night and tell me to stay in my apt and sometimes I have to lie and tell them I’m there when I’m not), and it’s just nice to be around new people. The one thing I don’t like about Philly is that sometimes I get scared at night, especially when I’m walking back to my apt from school and by the time I get out of classes (which is usually 5PM) it’s already so dark. I mean I’m not near the ghetto or anything but Philly doesn’t exactly have the best reputation when it comes to safety. If I happen to stay over at Aaron’s then I’ll have him come get me at my place or one of the other guys will come and get me so that’s nice.
OOH and guess what! CIRQUE DU SOLEIL IS COMING TO PHILADELPHIA!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so psyched, Aaron said he would take me. They’re going to be performing on Avenue of the Arts between May 8th and May 25th I believe if anyone in the area is interested in Cirque as well. I’ve always wanted to see them perform because they’re just absolutely beyond amazing and since I won’t get to go to Vegas this summer for my 21st, seeing Cirque in May will make up for that (since they’re one of the main reasons I wanted to go to Vegas anyway). AHH I’m just so excited and my brother said his girlfriend likes them too so maybe we’ll go on a double date or something. It should be a fun time hehe.
Ok now that I freaked out enough about that, here are the very FEW pictures that I got on my camera during Christmas time. I’m still sad I don’t really have any of Aaron and I but oh well. I haven't even gotten many pictures of me and the girls this vacation either but Daveen is leaving tomorrow to go back to Pitt so I'll try to take some more pictures and no makeup pictures yet because I just have a hard time doing closeups and trying to get the right lighting.

| Happy Holidays!!!! I hope everyone spent time with their families and got all the goodies that they wanted. I was going so crazy with Christmas shopping and finished up all my Christmas shopping on Sunday. Ugh, talk about procrastinating. I still have to get my roomie her present. I got half of it already but we aren’t exchanging until we get back to school anyway so I have plenty of time.
Last night I went to Aaron’s mom’s house for dinner and that’s always a lot of fun. I’ve definitely opened up a lot more around his family so that’s good. I wore a red turtleneck, black pinstriped pants, black boots (which I always somehow end up wearing to their house), and I painted the tips of my nails green and lined them with silver glitter. I wanted to be at least a little Christmassy. I took a few pictures here and there but didn’t take as much as I wanted to, and I didn’t even get any pictures of me and Aaron =/ We don’t have that many pictures together in general. Well, we’ll have to change that haha. Our two year anniversary passed and we just can’t believe we’ve been together that long. It’s kinda nuts. We haven’t had any fights either but I said it was only a matter of time and plus, it’ll give us a chance to make up and make us realize how crazy we are about each other. He's so good to me, no matter what kind of mood I'm in, and I love him for that. *sigh* Ok so enough of that, I’m going to tell you all that I got even if you guys don’t care:

-A new nail buffer since I lost my other one…I got it for a dollar at Five Below and it works wonderfully
-I finally found an empty spray bottle to put my brush cleanser in
-A comfy red turtleneck from Express (which is what I wore to dinner last night)
The nail polish, nail buffer and spray bottle are all from Five Below and let me tell you how much I love that store. My brother and I used to be skeptical about those kinds of places but man, I bought so many good things there and you just save so much money! I bought a bunch of adorable holiday gift bags there too. Ooh and a little gag item, which I plan to try out once I get back to Philly. I’ll have to share with you guys how that goes *cackles evily*
Man I’m mad cause I think I forgot my camera cord at my apt at school so I can’t upload any pictures. I am going to try to go back to Philly though like maybe a week before I start school so I can clean out my fridge and check up on the stuff that I left there. And then I can post pretty pictures for you guys to see! For now I am out so I can get some rest and be ready to eat at SHADY FREAKIN MAPLE tomorrow. I’m excited, I haven’t been there since high school maybe. It’s gonna rock. Good night everyone!

| Hey everyone! Ok so now that finals and everything are OVER, I have time to update you guys on what’s been going on these past few weeks for those of you that actually care haha. So one of the highlights of the month was going to the M.I.A. show the first weekend, and I had a grand time. M.I.A. is just super funky and she had the weirdest, brightest outfit on and it was just great! I was indifferent about going to the concert. I mean I like the music and stuff but if I didn’t get to go, I wouldn’t have felt to disappointed. Everyone else really wanted me to go so luckily Aaron was able to get me a ticket. The interesting thing that happened that night was me blowing up at Aaron. Poor guy had to deal with my bitchiness at the end of the night. He was drunk by the end of the concert and was going to go out and drink some more with friends and I was like ok that’s cool, but then I was trying to figure out how I was going to get inside his apt cause I accidentally left my keys there and Jason offered to come back to West Philly with me and let me in. I was just getting frustrated and mad and I know I didn’t have to be that way but at that point I felt terrible because I was thinking about how I’m kind of an inconvenience to Aaron and the guys. Like, what if Jason wanted to go out and drink with Aaron, Jeff and everyone else but then felt like he had to come back with me and let me inside the apt. I don’t know, the situation wasn’t really complicated but I guess since I’m a girl and I get super PMSy sometimes, I just got angry when Aaron was talking to me.
The way it went was him telling me that he was pretty drunk and he was going to drink some more but he kept telling me that a lot and then….BITCHY ALICE came out haha and I go, “I know, I know cause you had to deal with drunk people the entire week so now it’s your turn. You told me that five fucking million times!” And then awkward silence from everyone because no one ever heard me yell like that, let alone yell at Aaron. He asked me if I was mad at him and I said no and he goes “Ok that means yes.” And I was going to leave without letting him hug me or kiss me and I just stood there while he gave me a kiss. Lol my poor baby. He called me around 2AM to make sure I got home ok and asked if I was still mad at him and I just explained everything. I know we do things that annoy each other but we get over it, and I can never stay mad at him. I think we are wonderful at communicating with each other, and that’s how we’ve been able to avoid any major drama. <33
I’m pretty excited cause I’m going over to his mom’s house for Christmas Eve dinner. I’m making her a scarf for Christmas, so I really really really really times infinity hope that she likes it. I’ll have to take a picture of it when I’m done. I started today so hopefully I’ll be done by the time the weekend rolls around. I still have no idea what I’m wearing yet but I want to be Christmasy so I’ll probably be wearing red and green.
Another thing I want to share is that there’s this girl on youtube named Stephie, and she’s one of the “makeup gurus” online whose videos I LOVE to watch since we all know I’ve been getting into makeup more. I think I might try to recreate some of the looks she’s done and email pictures to her to post for her Reader Submitted Looks entries. I tried to do that today but taking pictures of myself is kind of hard (even with the self timer because I have to find the right place to put the camera) and plus the lighting is key to a good picture and all of the pictures I was taking were too bright. Anyway I think I’ll try again. She is so talented with makeup! And she’s just really pretty. She doesn’t even need makeup. But yeah, makeup is just fun lol and I mean it’s ok for good looking people to wear makeup because a little bit here and there enhances certain features, just as long as it’s not over the top.
That’s pretty much all that I really wanted to tell you guys. I’ve left details of certain events out of the entry for various reasons haha but they pretty much involved me getting incredibly sick and puking for an entire night and all through the next day and learning my lesson.
